RAFTING IN PUNAKHA
Bhutan offers some beautiful rivers with immense rafting possibilities although in September to November month. Punakha Valley has rafting facilities available for casual raft trips. Rafting is becoming increasingly popular. The most popular site for rafting is along the Pho Chhu (male river) and negotiating the confluence where it meets the Mo Chhu (river). Punakha Valley has some fun with the Grade 1 & 2 gentler rapids of the Mo Chhu (female river) or takes on the Pho Chhu (male river) challenges with its grade 4 rapids.
